The Void and Emptiness Site. Albert Ribas

 
Albert Ribas is the person in charge of this Site. He is the author, among other works, of the book 
"Biografía del vacío" (Biography of emptiness).

Born in 1950 in Barcelona, he is Ph. Doctor in Philosophy and Sciences of Education by the Barcelona University (UB). He is a professor in the Humanities area of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, one of the first and most prestigious in education via Internet.

 He is focused on history and philosophy of science, and on philosophy of Culture. Particularly, he is interested in the compared studies of the East and West philosophies and religions. The question of void and emptiness must be located in this context. He does not recognize much indebtedness to teachers, but Alexandre Koyré, Mircea Eliade, and Raimon Panilkkar must be mentioned.
